Well hello again! I’m back today to make a quick post to let everyone know some good news! My photo of the Potomac River from the Great Falls National Park will be featured on the homepage of the Potomac Conservancy. The Potomac Conservancy lists their mission as;
Potomac Conservancy safeguards the lands and waters of the Potomac River and its tributaries, and connects people to this national treasure.
They in particular protect the land, advocate clean water, and community participation in conservation. There is some great information on their web site and I suggest you check it out. I want to give a big thank you to Melissa from the conservancy for finding my image and contacting me about purchasing/using it. It was so cool to wake up this morning and refresh their homepage to see my photo there. I know it’s no National Geographic, but we all have to start somewhere! I wrote previously about my trip and photos taken at Great Falls. I spent a solid handful of hours working on the panoramic photo which is detailed in that post if you’re in to that type of thing. If not you can just see some other photos of the beautiful area. I think that’s about it….See ya, promise I’ll be back soon!
