I’ve always heard that everyone should have their own web site. Well today is the day for mine! After years of managing, revamping and tweaking web site’s for my employer along with friends and family I decided that it is finally time to have my own web site.
Being in charge of a web site sounds like a cool thing to do, but what the heck are you suppose to write about? For many years I had no idea what “my” site would be about. What kind of site does the internet really need? Another blog by some nerd about his IT adventures? Ehh…I may be qualified but I’m fairly certain that topic is pretty well covered. There must be a great idea out there that nobody has thought of yet. Well guess what, I couldn’t come up with anything! I need a topic that anyone can relate to, something that will keep my visitor’s attention.
And then it dawned on me, I’ll base my site on photography. Ever since owning my first camera my passion for photography has taken a hold of me and changed the way that I look at the world. I tend to peak out of the blinds around sunset each night to see what mother nature has brewed up. Walking to work or driving across town has taken on new meaning. Keeping my head on a swivel taking in my surroundings looking for that next photo opportunity. Sometimes you just see something that would make a great photo, but figuring out how to convey or compose it is the challenge. I then began to realize that others enjoy it too. People began to ask me to take photos for them. Be it attending charity events at my son’s school, a family picnic or even my wife’s half marathon. I began to realize that everyone wants to remember those special moments of life. What better way than with an image you can look back at for years and years to come.
I’m so proud of your website bunny! I know everyone will love your photos as much as I do<3
Thanks!
WoW Adam I am loving your website!!!!
